Karwar: The Covid case positivity rate is dipping drastically in Uttara Kannada district, said Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, he said, the Covid case positivity rate was 26.55% on May 28 in the district, and it dipped to 15.79% on June 4. 

He said, a total of 2,254 Covid tests were conducted in the district on Friday. Of them, 356 people tested positive. Further measures should be initiated to contain the spread of the infection, he added.
